writing on cups policy

everyone in this sub is talking about the new paying customers only policy but i can’t get over the writing on cups policy???? like my manager said we need to be writing on every single cup no exceptions. including during peak and rushes or if you’re on solo bar????

idk i feel like if i saw my barista stopping to write on cups while im waiting on my drink i would do something drastic. i think its really sweet when business is slow but we should notttt be pulling out our sharpies constantly when we’re drowning on bar
