First time succ-er

My girlfriend gave me this gal as a little mummified nugget that fell off her roommate’s succulent. I placed it in potting soil and watered once every two weeks and blew up with a gorgeous yellow flower and threw out this paddle. There has not been much action since then (July-ish). I feel like I’m not treating her as well as I could but this first cactus so idk. I am in zone 7B I believe (ATL).

What is she and should I repot? Change the soil?
