Tyler & Cate are going to negatively effect the already train wreck adoption system

Anyone watching Tyler and Cates ordeal, whether being someone who watched teen mom or coming across a random article, would be greatly turned off from adopting.

Here's a nice, good family with obvious resources adopting a teenage couples baby. Communicating and working together, doing everything right.

As the teenage couple get older, they get more entitled and make more demands and on top of that are in the public eye and use the baby as a way to get more attention from the public. The more you set boundaries the more they cry to the public, until you completely shut them out, you and your family live a quiet, private life and you want to continue that... This to them validates to the public their claim that you are actually the villain... They were just the victim of poverty, bad parents and childhood.. You were the rich , privileged that took advantage of their situation so you could steal their baby! At this time, the child is old enough to have awareness of the situation and she's mortified as well.

What an exhausting nightmare

If I were looking to adopt and I came across that I'd immediately decide against adopting from teenagers at the very least, maybe adopting all together. Can you imagine having these two mentally unstable d list "celebrities" making you and your child their whole narrative for TV?

The adoption system is already such a mess. Children desperately need homes and a lot of people are desperate for kids or to help kids( and before anyone says it -yes there's bad sinister people out there too this isn't about them)

It goes so much deeper then just hurting Carly and her parents...

Cate and Tyler if you're reading this (and I believe you will) work on yourselves. Go to therapy that holds you accountable and doesn't just tell you what you want to hear and feed your victomhood... TRULY break the generational curses, getting financial security from a reality show doesn't mean you've broke the family cycles... And for the love of God leave Carly and her parents alone... If she wants to find you after she's 18 you're easy to find! Lol back off!
