Any condition trade in promo - anything preventing me from changing plans?

Hi. My wifes iPhone 13 pro has a cracked screen. I want to port over to a Go5G Plus plan, but the trade in offer requires good condition. Could I port over to a Go5G Next plan for a month, do the trade in, and then downgrade to a Plus plan?
