2nd medical ride. Wouldn't blame anyone for saying no to this one.

Getting close to dropping off a passenger and the next ride request comes in. It's pretty close to where I am and I should have the time to do one more and get to my day job at a decent time. As I am getting close to the pick up I get the dreaded text - rider is slow, has walker, wait at destination and return him home. Great, didn't say it was a round trip. I'll keep it though. Pull up to the house and get an instant automatic text, call rider to let him know you have arrived. I call the rider, no answer. No lights on in the house. Text the 3rd party back, no reply. Sent Another text, no reply. Passenger calls back and says the trip was supposed to be tomorrow not today and can I cancel it. While I have him on the phone I ask if he minds telling me about the trip, was it just to get a prescription filled or something. No, it was a trip to some infusion center where he was getting an infusion treatment. I asked him how long the infusion takes (remembering taking my dad to his infusion treatment last year before he passed from cancer. Dad's infusions were over 30 minutes plus check in time and taking vitals, etc). Yup the passenger told me the infusion takes about 30 minutes and the driver is supposed to wait. OH HELL NO!!! It was 7AM, the infusion place was 15 minutes away and didn't open until 8, then wait another hour for the check in, vitals, treatment and check out?!?!?! Get a second trip/driver. No way I can, should, or would wait that long. 5-10 minutes sure. After 10 minutes, order a new trip. So glad the guy told me to cancel. He did ask if I would be back tomorrow. Told him it probably would not be me.

Never got a single reply back from the 3rd party. They probably have an automatic text sent when you head towards the trip and when you arrive. Texted them no answer, when he called back, wrong appointment day, rider said cancel, ok I'm cancelling. No reply

I was there past the 5 minute count down timer. Timer switched over to charging wait time. Don't see anything in my trips this morning showing it though. Does that show up later?
