Sell Me on Wildlander

Heyyo.

Let me uhhh get to it then.

Been playing Skyrim for years, over a decade at this point. Took a long ass break, and recently decided I'd give er the old vanilla nostalgia run. Got AE installed, loaded up the Aurora list for visuals only and bugfixes, turned on survival mode, and cranked the difficulty to Legendary.

The beginning was rough, of course. But Skyrim has always had its exploitabilities. Now I'm level 60, finished the Thieve's Guild completely (for selling purposes), Speech is 100, Conjuration is 100, Smithing is 100, Enchanting is 100, Alchemy is 100, Sneak is 100, Archery is 100, and nothing is particularly scary anymore.

Sure, some bosses are spongy but uhhhhh, let's just say it feels like Adept. I've done no progress in main story past finding Esbern, haven't touched a single faction outside of Thieve's Guild, but anything I come across hasn't been much challenge. Ancient Dragon, Draugr Death Overlord, Mistwalker Vampire, can pretty much just stand in front of them now.

I ended up turning off Survival because vanilla survival just feels more like a chore with harsh penalties instead of immersive fun. Kept no fast travel and sleep to level up tho. I don't really feel like progressing anymore, as there's not much to be gained? I've got 500k gold, end game armor and enchantments. Anything more is just checking off the quest list.

I've always had grand visions of making a hardcore, immersive modlist that tries to make the game even, and un-power-levable. With much better survival. A world that feels alive, where you aren't the most important person in the universe 5 minutes after starting the game. Where you actually have to grind, and then feel rewarded for doing so.

Then I stumbled on Wildlander. I've never heard of it, never touched Requiem. Does it sound like something I'll like? I know I can just try it, and I will, but tell me why you think it will fill the gaps I have with Skyrim
