Toes at sub zero (Fahrenheit)

I’ve noticed that when the temp or wind chill gets significantly colder than 0F, my toes will start getting pretty cold after 90-120 minutes on the bike, even with -40 rated boots and 2 pair of merino wool socks. Are people facing these temperatures using heated socks or doing something else? Layers, goggles, and pogies do a great job for the rest of my body. It’s just the toes…
