I disagree. You can't choose to believe anything you want. You can choose to say you believe something. Actually believing is entirely different. If you are not convinced that you can have complete trust in something you cannot have faith in it. So if you doubt something even a little you aren't faithful to it.

Did yall not see his past comments too from a previous post? His wife (remarried; both have kids) wants to be more important than his own kids. It sounds like she’s using you in every single way possible. I’m not usually one to give advice as it’s not my place but this is not healthy for you at all. And you’re enabling her toxic behaviours by staying. I would seriously consider working on a plan to leave, and make sure she doesn’t find out either ahead of time.
