I remember back in my teens and early 20’s wanting thin legs, and a thigh gap. Fast forward, I’m 33 a mom of two, a long time runner and a marathoner who lifts. I’m happy to say that those days are loooong gone. I love my muscular “thunder” thighs. ❤️

I’m such a creature of habit. I’ve had my creami for a couple months and this is really the only ice cream I’ve made. Key lime protein ice cream. I’ve only tried one other recipe that’s it.😅😂Share your high protein recipes I need inspiration.

Let's share our experiences, recipes, fails, and experience using the Ninja Creami.
Well I guess you can say marathon training has gotten serious. 😆

F/33/5’5” [147>140=7 pounds] (6 months)

post those awesome before/after pictures of yours!
Really felt like I wasn’t making any progress until I compared photos from 6 months ago. Oct 2024 to April 2025. Increased weight lifting from 1x a week to 4x a week. I’m a long distance runner also.

What am I doing wrong? Almost 40 days in a calorie deficit and have only lost 2.2 lbs.

By the completion of my 9 week marathon plan I would have ran 290 miles. Is that enough mileage for me to be adequately prepared?

It’s Audiblebooksusa legit? Saw a comment on here from an older post mentioning them. I just spent $45 on five extra credits from audible, before realizing there were alternative ways to get more credits for cheaper.

21 miles done! 3:40 possible? I felt really good, my HR runs on the higher side at baseline especially with hills added in but I felt totally fine the whole time.

Cautionary tale. Weigh everything, because servings sizes can be inaccurate. Tru fruit chocolate covered strawberries have derailed my progress.

How are we keeping up with household chores while marathon training, cause the clutter is piling up and it’s driving me crazy.

I don’t have a strong desire to run really large marathons or world majors.

One thing I do REALLY well is procrastinate a long run. Who else?

When does audible typically run site wide sales? 2n1 seems to be their main thing but can never find anything I’m really into.

Will I be ready for a marathon that’s 9 weeks away, if I just recently just completed a marathon in January?

Since when is an 8-8:30 minute place considered “slow”? It wasn’t until I joined the running side of social media, where anything over 5/6 minute paces is considered slow. It’s wild!

Can someone explain this phenomenon. Why is my heart rate lower running faster paces, but higher when I’m running slower? 🤔

Probably the hardest thing to cope with is that you can’t realistically maintain “marathon shape” year round…Half marathon shape sure. So you watch your fitness slowly decline after your race, knowing you’ll have to start the intense training cycle all over again when you’re ready for another. 😫😂

Completed my first marathon last weekend. At mile 20 I was thinking I’m never doing this again. And now only two days post marathon I’m already ready for more. Something is wrong with me. 🙃😂
